East Arlington Switching Station

PELLCO was the General Contractor on this project to construct a new electrical 115kV switching station at the site of the District’s existing East Arlington Substation. The project consisted of the demo of the existing substation earthwork, new storm drainage, new water service, cast-in-place concrete foundations for new District equipment, perimeter fence, landscaping.

Mukilteo Substation Construction

PELLCO was the General Contractor for this project which involved the reconstruction and expansion of an existing substation. The project involved construction of 200 lf of cast-in-place concrete retaining wall, construction of a segmental block retaining wall, new concrete footings to support the substation, storm drainage, and steel improvements all on a very small site. PELLCO self-performed all earthwork, site utilities, structural concrete and rough carpentry.

Turners Corner Substation Retaining Wall

PELLCO was the General Contractor for this project which involved casting a new 340 lf of concrete retaining wall to allow for the expansion of Highway 9. The project involved extensive dewatering, contaminated soil remediation and the installation of two 6' x 25' cast-in-place concrete transmission tower foundations. PELLCO self-performed all earthwork, site utilities, structural concrete, rough carpentry and finish carpentry.
